Sun, Breezes and Blueberries: Our first market at BlueBroncoBoutique!
Share
Happy Spring! It officially feels like summer here in Florida, and we just hit a major milestone: our very first vendor market is officially in the books.
We’ve spent plenty of time at the Hammock Bay markets in Freeport as customers, always walking away with unique finds from the Windmills field. But this time, we were the ones behind the table! Taking part in the special Blueberry Festival market was the perfect way to debut—the energy was high, and the field was packed with both familiar faces and new vendors.
The Learning Curve Since spots are first-come, first-served, we arrived early (with plenty of coffee in hand). While we had a lot of "waiting time," it gave us a chance to soak in the atmosphere. Our first setup was simple and functional, but as the saying goes: BlueBroncoBoutique wasn't built in a day! We’re already dreaming up ways to level up the booth’s vibe for next time.
Weathering the Elements The Florida weather kept us on our toes. Despite a rainy forecast, the sun stayed out all day. A light breeze gave us a brief scare, but thanks to some sturdy fastening, everything stayed put.
What’s Next? Meeting new customers and networking with fellow vendors was the highlight of the day. Hammock Bay is celebrating its 25th anniversary later this month with another market, and while we aren't sure yet if BBB will be there, we are working hard to make it happen!
